Dell Oliver, AVP of Nursing Leadership Solutions provides leadership to the Executive Transitions services within CSG. This includes collaboration with Human Resources to effectively on-board new nursing leaders and manage the CNO Transitional Leadership program.
Prior to becoming a part of this team, Dell was the AVP of Executive Development and Talent Director of ACNO and CNO under the Human Resources Department. As a leader in the Executive Development Program, Dell was instrumental in helping integrated all the Associate CNOs, COOs and CFOs development Programs. Dell has worked for HCA for 25 years and has over 30 years of nursing and executive leadership experience.
In addition, to her work at HCA, Dell is also very involved in the community. She is a committee member of the Middle Tennessee March of Dimes and has served as an Event Chair for the Middle Tennessee March of Dimes Nurse of the Year. She has also volunteered for the YMCA and received “The Volunteer of the Year” award from the YMCA of middle Tennessee. Lastly, Dell is currently the Board Secretary of the Urban League of Middle Tennessee, Board Chair for Moves and Grooves, Inc. of Nashville, TN. She stays very involved in various nursing academic boards as well.
Dell received her Bachelors’ of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide) and later received her Masters of Science in Nursing, Master’s in Business Administration and a Masters in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. She is also pursuing her PhD in Health Services and Leadership through Walden University. Dell recently received the honor of Fellow status in 2015 from the American College of Healthcare Executives. During downtime, Dells enjoys her family, husband, three daughters and one granddaughter as well as watching old comedy TV shows.
